I love how sweet and pretty raspberries are. Even better, I love the amazing nutrition benefits they provide. They are specifically high in ellagic acid. Ellagic acid is a natural compound that fights cancer cells. Want even more good news? The ellagic acid in red raspberries can retain its potency through heating or freezing. So this means you can eat them fresh, frozen, or heated and they still maintain their cancer fighting power!
One of my favorite ways to eat raspberries is to make a delicious smoothie. This makes a great on the go breakfast, between meal snack, or a meal replacement as well.
